About Adam
Adam is a jeweler, sculptor and craftsman whose work has always been guided by one simple question:
What can be removed so that what remains has greater presence?
He began Coloured Jewels in 2014 as a necessary creative outlet, drawing on a lifelong interest in drawing, ceramics and sculpture before discovering wax carving as the medium that truly felt like home. What began as sculptural exploration gradually evolved into jewelry, where each piece could be held, worn and become part of someone's everyday life.
Adam remains personally involved in every design, preferring to be the first to shape each piece and the last to finish it by hand. His background as a sculptor continues to influence every aspect of the work—from the jewelry itself to the environments in which it is presented.
Today he travels between New York and Florida, meeting clients through markets, festivals and private appointments. While the jewelry is what first brings people to the table, the conversations often become just as meaningful. Stories of family, milestones, healing and celebration have become an inseparable part of the work.
For Adam, craftsmanship has never been about making more.
It has always been about making something that carries the same presence with which it was created.
